A country that is such a huge part of ELCE - there's something about island life that draws us back each year, the slower pace, the openness, the feeling of stepping away from routine and into something more instinctive.

ALTÈRA was designed with that feeling in mind. Throughout the shoot, weathered stone, salt air and endless open space became part of the collection itself, shaping the mood of each image as naturally as the pieces were worn.

Several crochet styles throughout the capsule were handmade by artisans in Bali, adding another layer of connection between the collection and the islands that inspired it.

The most memorable moments existed between frames - lived-in rather than constructed. Fragments of the island, woven throughout ALTÈRA.
